Khauf – Short Overview
Khauf (2025) is a Hindi horror–thriller web series created by Smita Singh and directed by Pankaj Kumar and Surya Balakrishnan. It stars Monika Panwar and Rajat Kapoor and premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 18 April 2025.
Story:
The series follows Madhu, a young woman who moves to Delhi to start a new life. She rents a cheap room in a girls’ hostel, but the room hides a dark and supernatural presence. Strange and frightening events begin to happen, and the other girls warn her to leave before it’s too late. Madhu must face both paranormal forces and the trauma from her past.

Khauf is a slow-burn psychological horror series that combines ghostly horror with deeper social themes and trauma.
