Avatar – Short Review

Directed by James Cameron, Avatar is one of the most visually groundbreaking films in cinema history and became the highest-grossing movie of all time for many years.


The story follows Jake Sully, played by Sam Worthington, a former Marine who travels to the alien moon Pandora. Using a genetically engineered body called an Avatar, he can interact with the native blue-skinned species known as the Na’vi.


As Jake spends more time with the Na’vi and forms a bond with Neytiri, he begins to question the human mission to exploit Pandora’s valuable resources.
