Iron Man 2 – Short Review
Directed by Jon Favreau and starring Robert Downey Jr., Iron Man 2 continues the story of billionaire genius Tony Stark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
After revealing his identity as Iron Man, Tony Stark faces new problems. The government wants control of his technology, and a new enemy appears—Ivan Vanko / Whiplash, a scientist seeking revenge against the Stark family. At the same time, Tony struggles with a serious health problem caused by the power source in his chest.
The movie also introduces Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow (played by Scarlett Johansson) and develops the role of James Rhodes / War Machine.
Overall:
Iron Man 2 is an entertaining superhero sequel with exciting action, new characters, and important connections to the expanding MCU.
