This film expands the Bourne film series universe with a new protagonist instead of Jason Bourne. Jeremy Renner plays Aaron Cross, a genetically enhanced operative trying to survive after the government decides to shut down the secret program that created him.
Alongside Rachel Weisz, the film focuses on conspiracy, survival, and intense chase sequences across different countries.
The movie delivers solid action and suspense, though some fans felt the absence of Jason Bourne changed the tone of the series.
