Directed by Martin Campbell and starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, the film is based on the superhero from DC Comics.
Story:
The movie follows Hal Jordan, a talented but reckless test pilot who is chosen by a mysterious alien ring. The ring grants him incredible powers and makes him a member of the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic force that protects the universe. Hal must overcome his fears to stop the powerful cosmic enemy Parallax, who threatens the entire universe.
Overall:
Green Lantern has an interesting concept and large-scale sci-fi ideas, but the movie received mixed reactions due to its heavy CGI and uneven storytelling. Still, it’s an entertaining introduction to the Green Lantern hero
