The Godfather Part II – Overview
Directed by Francis Ford Coppola, The Godfather Part II continues the story of the Corleone crime family. The film follows Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) as he expands and protects the family’s powerful mafia empire while dealing with betrayal, politics, and growing isolation.
At the same time, the movie also tells the past story of young Vito Corleone, played by Robert De Niro, showing how he rose from a poor immigrant to a powerful crime boss.
