Resident Evil: Extinction – Short Review

Directed by Russell Mulcahy, this is the third movie in the Resident Evil film series starring Milla Jovovich as Alice.

The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where the T-virus has spread across the planet, turning most of humanity into zombies. The world has become a desert wasteland. Alice travels alone across the ruins while a group of survivors moves through the desert searching for a safe place called Alaska.

Meanwhile, the Umbrella Corporation is still running experiments, trying to control the virus and Alice’s powers.

Overall:

A stylish zombie action film with intense fights and a bleak post-apocalyptic world. It expands the story and sets up the next chapter in the series.
